Panache

It's a very exciting day when I introduce a new fabric line to you. I feel like I have been working on this one for a long time, and I have just been bursting to share it with you.

Welcome Panache!

What is Panache?

It's that special something that adds a little flair and style. It's the red corsage on the stylish tuxedo, it's the cherry on top of the ice cream sundae, it's the colourful lining on a designer jacket. It's the unexpected that brings sartorial elegance.

My Panache fabric line is bursting with the unexpected and all the little extras. You can see from the full range photo above that there is lots to dive into here. So let's get started.

Firstly, there are 25 wovens. made from super, silky and soft cotton these are a combination of stripes and checks that will work on their own, or mixed with others.

There is a variety of scale, from tiny gingham checks to bigger buffalo checks; from pin stripes to bold ticking.

The colours of red, off white, washed black and silvery grey make a timeless statement that will work with many printed fabric ranges.

May I boldly suggest that they will work with lots of printed Christmas fabrics too.

Layers Cakes, Charm Packs and Fat ¼ bundles are the available pre-cuts.

Here is a couple of the little extras that I just love.

These two fabrics are already pieced into 4" squares, from the Panache wovens. They are stitched and overlocked on the back and ready for you to create quilts, bags, backings and anything else you can think of.

These are going to be so much fun and I am excited to share the projects I have created using these two beauties.

As I said, Panache is that extra 'something' that adds flair and style.

Here is another 'extra'.

These are cotton slubs. They are 100% cotton fabric with a wonderful slubby texture. As you can see there are 3 printed floral, 3 printed spots and 3 plains in off white, black and a woven combination of black and white.

They can be sewn into quilts, bags, perfect for throw pillow, jackets and lots more.

Stay tuned to see the projects I have designed with these.

You can see the texture in these images. So many possibilities.

Of course, a line of fabric from me would be incomplete without some gorgeous Moda Toweling!

Here are the collection of thirteen 18" wide towelings.

100% cotton and hemmed on both sides these come on a long roll making them perfect for tea towels, table runners, table mats, napkins, bags and pillows.

They are a wonderful substrate for hand and machine applique and really popular with machine embroidery enthusiasts.

But, because this line has Panache, we know there is more, and it comes in the form of two beautiful 60" wide towelings. Aren't we spoilt!

These classic fabrics make perfect quilt backs; the extra weight makes them so cosy, they are my favourites to sleep under.

Also ideal for cotton throws, bold quilt borders and lovely long lumbar pillows.

So there it is, Panache.

I hope you love this line as much as I do, I can't wait to see what you will create with all these fabrics.

Panache is showing to stores now, so if you have a local store and would like some, please contact them so they can place their orders.

Panache will arrive in stores in April 2024.

Please stay tuned for further blogs about Panache. I will be sharing all the projects and patterns and I have also conducted some experiments with washing and shrinking, so you will know how the fabrics will perform in your projects.

A free pattern also accompanies this line, which you will be able to download from my website soon.

Why not sew something with Panache!

Happy Sewing

Jenelle
